VERY RARE easy chair designed by Pierre Paulin for A. Polak in 1955, number AP14. Solid steel frame mounted with 4 metal clips and 8 screws, seat made of thick canvas. This chair was a very early design by Paulin and after this chair he designed the more famous butterfly. Chair is really hard to find, this is only the 3rd time I could buy this in 2 years of dealing design, in contrast with the Butterfly this is a very scarce chair these days. A true center piece of attention and a highly collectible chair. Chair is in very good and completely original vintage condition, seat has minimal wear due to age but nothing serious! Frame has some user ´spots´ I kept this original as well, can be polished if wanted cause the metal frame is solid, but I personally like the patina on it!
